TVs and computer monitors are often seen as large and cumbersome devices. However, what if you could transform your portable screen into an HDMI monitor? That's where the Orion Video System comes in. Developed by Lux Entertainment and Optics Inc., this software application, paired with a USB-C Capture Card, allows you to use your existing screen as a versatile monitor with ease.

The Orion Video System has a variety of practical uses. Firstly, it can turn your iPad into a portable display for your camera, allowing you to monitor framing, focus, and color as you capture both videos and stills. Additionally, it provides a convenient solution for gaming on the go by connecting it to a game console or acting as a quick and fantastic monitor equipped with speakers. Furthermore, Orion can be connected to Macs, PCs, and other HDMI capable devices, offering an extra screen for video output.

One of the standout features of Orion is its extensive range of capabilities. Whether you want to quickly share a screenshot of your video feed or have access to intuitive controls and an easy-to-follow user manual, Orion ensures that your iPad becomes an excellent external HDMI monitor. By upgrading to Orion Pro, you gain additional benefits such as adjusting video brightness, upscaling HD content with AI-powered 4K upscaling, or embracing a nostalgic experience through the 3-way retro CRT Emulation system.
